Symposium venue:   Pribaltiyskaya

PIERS 2017 in St.Petersburg will be held in Park Inn by Radisson «Pribaltiyskaya» hotel (Address: 14 Korablestoiteley street, St.Petersburg 199226, Russia). This spacious hotel can accommodate more than 1000 people. A limited number of rooms is reserved in Park Inn by Radisson «Pribaltiyskaya» for PIERS participants and accompanying persons at reduced prices:

These prices are restricted to the period from May 20 to May 28, 2017. If a longer stay is required, extra days can be booked by the usual booking link. Payments should be made by credit card. Exchange from your card currency into rubles will be made at the exchange rate at the time of booking. Approximate exchange rates are: 64.5 rub./$; 72.5 rub./€; 9.7 rub./RMB.

Many other hotels can be found in St.Petersburg. Reservations are possible via major booking systems, such as Booking.com, Expedia and others. If you are going to choose other hotel than Park Inn by Radisson «Pribaltijskaya», we advice you to put the hotel name as a comment in the Registration Form, which would allow us to adjust the route of the PIERS Shuttle-buses. It is planned that the Shuttle-busses will be circulating between the symposium venue and Moscow railway station along Nevsky prospect and via St.Isaak's square.

Traveling to St.Petersburg

By air: International airport of St.Petersburg Pulkovo (LED) has direct connections from more than 100 destinations in China, Europe, Middle East and inside Russia. More destinations are available with a transfer at Moscow airports.

The airport is located 23 km to the south of the city center and is connected to St.Petersburg by bus number 39 and Minivan Taxi number K39. See local transportation scheme below.

Alternatively you can take a taxi at the airport, which should cost about 1000 rubles to the Symposium venue. You can pay either in cash to the driver or at the Taxi counter in the airport with your credit card.

By train: You can reach St.Petersburg by train from many cities of the former Soviet Union, from Helsinki, Riga, Vilnus, Berlin, Paris.

Trains from Moscow (4 hours by fast train) and many other cities of Russia arrive to Moscow railway station, trains from Helsinki (3.5 hours by fast train) arrive to Finland railway station, where from it is easy to reach the symposium venue. See local transportation scheme.

By Ferry: Ferry connects St.Petersburg with Helsinki, Stockholm and Tallinn. From ferry station take bus number 152 or trolleybus 11. It takes about 10 min and costs 30 rubles to reach the symposium venue.
